Meal Plan:

Lunch & Dinner

Today is all about the "Mega-Herds." After an early breakfast at 6:30 AM, you’ll head deep into the heart of the reserve. Because you’re out for the full day, your guide will pack a delicious picnic lunch so you don't have to turn back. Your main goal today is to find the leading edge of the Wildebeest Migration. In late July, these herds are often spread across the Burrungat plains, creating a landscape that looks like it’s moving. Your guide won't just point at animals; they’ll explain the fascinating "intelligence" of the herd and how they decide where to move next. You’ll find a lonely acacia tree around 1:00 PM to enjoy your lunch in the middle of the savannah—a true "Out of Africa" moment. You’ll continue exploring different habitats and the big five (Lions, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephants & Rhinos) until about 5:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to return to camp. . Meals: Breakfast, Picnic lunch, Dinner & selected drinks

Meal Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

You’ll start your third day at 6:00 AM to catch the sunrise. This is when the Mara is most "alive." You’ll be looking for lions and hyenas while they are still active from their night of hunting. The cool morning air and the golden light make this the best time for photography. You’ll spend about three and a half hours on this drive before returning to the camp for a late, relaxed breakfast and some downtime by the pool. Have lunch at your camp and get ready for the afternoon magical experience. In the afternoon, you have the wonderful opportunity to visit a local Maasai village. You’ll meet the community, learn about their ancient traditions, and see how they have co-existed with wildlife for centuries. Afterward, at 3:30 PM, you’ll head out for your afternoon game drive. This time, your guide will likely focus on the riverine forests along the Talek River, which is the best place to spot a leopard draped over a tree limb. You’ll be back at the camp in time for another beautiful dinner under the stars. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & selected drinks

Meal Plan:

This is the day you’ve been waiting for. You’ll depart at 6:30 AM with your breakfast and lunch packed, heading straight for the Mara River. July is when the most dramatic river crossings happen. You’ll spend the day patrolling the riverbanks where thousands of wildebeest gather, nervously eyeing the water. Watching a crossing requires a lot of patience—you might sit quietly for an hour or two waiting for the first animal to take the plunge—but the payoff is incredible. You’ll see the raw power of nature as they brave the crocodiles and the steep embankments. You’ll enjoy your meals overlooking the river or at the border of the Serengeti. It’s an intense, emotional, and exhilarating day that usually lasts until 5:30 PM, making your final night at Emaiyan luxury camp feel very special. Meals: Breakfast, Packed lunch& Dinner

Meal Plan:

Being your final day, wake up for a delicious final breakfast and check out of the camp by 9:30AM. The drive back to Nairobi includes a stop in Narok for lunch, and you’ll arrive back in the city between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM. Your guide will drop you off at your residence or directly at JKIA for your flight home. You’ll leave the Mara with a full camera, but more importantly, a soul full of memories from one of the greatest shows on Earth. Meal Plan: Breakfast
