Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi or JKIA, followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. The journey takes about one hour and offers sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley and rolling savannah below. Upon landing at the Serena Airstrip, located just 6 minutes from your lodge, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred with a short game drive to Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After check-in, enjoy a delicious lunch while overlooking the endless plains from the lodge’s panoramic terrace. In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive across the reserve, where you may encounter elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and many more species in their natural habitat. As the sun sets in brilliant colors over the horizon, return to the lodge for dinner. You will then spend the night at your Lodge, surrounded by the serene wilderness of the Masai Mara.

Awake early for a breathtaking sunrise game drive, the perfect opportunity to witness predators returning from the night’s hunt and grazing animals starting their day. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by leisure time to relax or soak in the stunning views from the lodge’s cliff-top location. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a short mid-morning game drive before your transfer. Later, you will be taken to the nearby Serena Airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, enjoying one last aerial view of the savannah below. Upon landing at Wilson Airport, you will be transferred to JKIA for yout next flight or to your residence or hotel, marking the end of your short yet unforgettable Masai Mara flying safari.
